I’m sure GDPR is at the forefront of your mind as the countdown to next May’s deadline is fast approaching.
Here at Woods, we’re proud of our commitment to best practice and our record of excellent compliance across all elements of fundraising, banking and data management. That’s why we want to provide you with an update on our internal GDPR project and how it will be available to support our clients’ compliance requirements.
Leading us through the project is our Head of Compliance and data protection specialist, Paula Robinson. Paula is working with our teams across Valldata and Woods, guiding and consolidating our group approach.
We are currently completing a data flow analysis across all areas of business that will enable us to complete a personal data information asset register, detailing what data is held where, and how it is processed.
We anticipate there may be numerous remediation tasks that will come out of this analysis too. If this should be the case, we will liaise with our clients as required as we work on these tasks in readiness for May 2018.
Moving forward, we will be providing clients with monthly updates from January 2018 to ensure they are fully supported in their GDPR journey.
